Well where do I begin...I suppose this is one of those things that most people avoid or cringe about, writing about themselves. I am the epitome of an amateur blogger. Hey I watched a video and thought "I can do that!". Proceeding this is my feeble first attempts at a blog.
As you have seen I am sure, my name is Sarah. I come from an upper middle class family of blue collar workers. Being born and raised in Northern California, I like to think of myself as somewhat liberal, understanding, and non-judgmental. This isn’t true of all Californians by any means but the West coast has a built in leniency for the freaks, weirdos, alternatives, and anything else the rest of the world might consider taboo.
After getting a divorce from my all-American ex husband, I met someone that changed my life. Not only did he open my eyes to a new world of thoughts and conceptions, but shared his world...one that was much different from mine. This gave birth to my fascination with multiculturalism.
I hope to continuously learn through education, experience and audience feedback, how multiculturalism is progressing across the world. With communication lines more open than ever via the world wide web, I expect that soon there will be no cultural boundaries to cross and no diversity issues to face. Lets find out! I welcome all things multicultural on this blog. Feel free to request a topic as well!
